The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the National Taiwan University (DAS-NTU) is looking to hire faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with appointments starting in February 2026. The preferred expertise lies in areas (but not limited to) such as severe weather (e.g., typhoon and mesoscale convection), monsoon, extreme weather and climate, atmospheric physics and chemistry, observation/instrument/remote sensing, or emerging critical topics in atmospheric and climate sciences. The deadline for application is July 31, 2025.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in atmospheric sciences or closely related fields, preferably with postdoctoral experience. They should also have the capability to develop unique and innovative research projects and be in enthusiastic in teaching.
